Congratulations! You did it. You wrote a book and now you're on a quest to get the book published.
Publishing is an entire other arena filled with gates and obstacles to prevent you from reaching your goal. There are traditional publishers, vanity presses and small independent publishers. Should you have an agent or go it alone?
We cater to those hardy authors who have decided to produce their work themselves. The area of "self-publishing" (not vanity publishing) where the author retains all rights for their creative work, but wants to outsource the effort to get it production worthy.
We put your manuscript through a thorough edit and work with you to get in in a production worthy state. All edits are done in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style.
We then typeset the text and graphics of the book's interior to get it ready for the printer, give it one more proofread to look for errors that might be in the manuscript, and design the book's cover for you.
We can do these things as a package, or work with others (al la carte) to provide the services you need and only the services you need.
We deliver production ready files in both PDF and Adobe InDesign software. We use MS Word for the interim part of the process. All work is completed in Adobe CS3.
